Our group gîte, with a capacity of 14 people, overlooks a small valley on the southern slope of Mont Lozère, just 800 meters from the center of the village of Villefort.
Villefort, a warm and lively village, offers you everything you need: bars, restaurants with sunny terraces, bakery, butcher’s, mini-markets, tobacconist’s, local produce shops, pharmacy, and much more. You will discover all the Cévennes friendliness.
Just 5 minutes by car, the Villefort lake, a magnificent artificial lake of 140 hectares classified Blue Flag, is a real natural jewel. Bordered by a beach and surrounded by greenery, it offers many water activities: boat trips, paddle. You can also simply relax on its heights with breathtaking views.
For lovers of wild nature, the rivers of Pied-de-Borne, with their waterfalls and natural pools, offer perfect secret spots to recharge your batteries.
Whether you are passionate about hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling or simply looking for thrills, the Cévennes offer you an infinite playground. Via ferrata, canyoning, fishing… Our cottage is your ideal base for setting off on an adventure and exploring the wonders of this wild nature.
Our cottage, a former silkworm farm where silkworms were once raised, has preserved its authenticity. With its thick stone walls and slate roof, it offers a cool refuge in summer, while guaranteeing modern comfort.
On more than 170 m², the cottage has :
On the ground floor: a 70 m² living room with a semi-professional open kitchen, a dining area and a lounge area ideal for shared moments. Two bedrooms are available on this level: a bedroom with a double bed and its private bathroom, and a bedroom with two bunk beds and a bathroom.
Upstairs: four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with separate beds, accompanied by two shower rooms and two toilets.
Outside, a large south-facing terrace, partly covered, invites you to share meals and aperitifs with family or friends. A barbecue is also at your disposal for friendly evenings under the starry sky of the Cévennes.
